Autoimmunity Ostomyland Chronic Pain Kath's Chat Support Rooms
step by step guide

You are visitor number

since May 2004
This page is still under construction.

We welcome people who have an autoimmune disorder or an ostomy or chronic pain...or any combination of these.

Each room provides a place for support, exchange of ideas, and to socialise with fellow patients.

(for this reason, people who want to promote commercial items that they have a personal interest in/financial gain from are not welcome).

Each room has worldwide membership, of all ages.

Please note

All the channel activity is logged 24/7 for safety.
Private conversations are never logged.

Random one-line Quotes from the top 25 chat users logs appear on the channel stats page.
By entering the chat room you acknowledge and accept these notices.

Please read the chatroom rules before you join us for the very first time.

A Java Client is embedded into each chat page. There is nothing to download or install.

For your first visit we advise you try the default chat window. Afterwards you'll know whether you prefer a different colour background, larger screen etc.
There are four other screens available.

Chatroom Help - step by step guide

We often have members who have never been in a chatroom before. Please don't be nervous. These pages will show you exactly what to expect and what to do. If you're still unsure after you've looked at them, email me for help.

The server details are included on the individual chat pages so that you can use your own chat client if you prefer.
Jason has a specially configured version of mIRC for ostomyland, which you can download from his site.

Please be courteous

When entering the chatroom, please take a moment to say "hello". When leaving, let people know you are leaving. While you may not be able to see the people in the chatroom face-to-face, you are still entering and leaving a room filled with other people. Saying hello and goodbye is common courtesy.
